Bought too much fried chicken and don't know what to do with it? You're
gonna love this fantastic, easy fried chicken salad, salad...in fact, my daughter said she ate tons of this scrumptious salad when I made it! So, you'll probably want to buy some fried chicken just to make it...it's
When I recently developed my recipe forQuick and Easy Cinnamon Rolls, I knew I couldn't waste the crusts from the bread I used; and, as I always do with leftover crusts from bread, I made croutons...but, this time, with a special twist!
These savory, buttery and crunchy croutons are ideal for your holiday salad, soup or casserole toppings, or in your stuffing. They make such a great snack, it's difficult not to eat them all before using in your recipes!
Who ever knew such healthy little bites as these could be so addictive! Everyone in the family loved them, and I plan on keeping them around to satisfy that chocolate craving whenever it hits (which is often)!
As these chocolate bliss bites are super easy to make with minimal ingredients, you and the kids can have a fun little project together and enjoy something sweet without guilt!
Hard to believe this super-easy, refreshing and delicious cold treat is made from only one ingredient!
Kids love it, and you will love that you are giving them a healthy snack...especially good on hot days after playing outside, or getting off a hot school bus..back to school during the dog days of summer!
My grandson says: "They're even better than grape pops from the store and taste like frozen grapes, but better!"
My daughter celebrated a milestone birthday this month. Strawberry cake is one of her favorites; and for her special birthday, I wanted to prepare a special cake. So, I did a twist on traditional strawberry shortcake and made a tall square strawberry shortcake with three layers! She said she loved it because it's so light...a perfect spring dessert!
I just can't decide on the photo with which to lead this post...the uncut cake photo shows what a beautiful presentation this cake makes; however, the sliced cake photo is such a great shot and shows how tempting the cake is, hmm...
This is how we started the cake...
And, this is after we cut the cake...
For the layers, I used a recipe I've been making for years. Normally, it makes three 8" layers or one 13" x 9" x 2" cake. I have spent quite a bit of time researching on the internet the Betty
Crocker cookbook from which I adapted the recipe for the layers. However, when I find
my vintage Betty Crocker cookbook, which is packed away since my move, I
will provide the printing issue information.
Right out of the shower and before breakfast, I have my first cup of
coffee. With that first cup of coffee, I feel I need a little bite; and
generally, it is some kind of simple cookie, like an oatmeal cookie.
I always drop a chocolate-covered espresso bean into my coffee mug. Then, I
started putting an espresso bean on that little cookie and chasing it
with a sip of coffee...man on man that's really good! So, I thought why
not just make some oatmeal cookies with espresso beans in them and dunk
them into my coffee! Wow...bingo, perfect! Why I Jump Out of Bed...
We all often want delicious, quick and easy recipes these days; so I thought I'd give you a collection of some of mine. I find these particularly good right now, since I'm a little under the weather...
